Fourteen actors and a film crew were in San Marco Thursday afternoon, shooting a Christmas commercial for Beall’s Department Stores.
According to store spokesperson Gwen Bennett, footage from the 12-hour shoot will be edited and aired later this year as part of Beall’s holiday ad campaign.
“What we’re trying to capture here today,” said Bennett, vice president of advertising and e-commerce, “is the definitive Florida lifestyle. That’s what Beall’s is all about.”
The locations shot included Landon Park and a River Road home.
“It’s going to look great,” said Pat McKinney, creative director for producer The Dalton Agency. “This commercial will take you from the store to the lifestyle. Where else can you celebrate Christmas in a pair of shorts?”
