Watson’s Wendell Davis is on the ladder which leads to the top of the Florida Association of Realtors.
Davis, the company’s Regional Vice President of Property Management, was elected the 2005 secretary of the Florida Association of Realtors last month at the annual FAR convention in Orlando.
Also at the convention, Selby Kaiser of Prudential Network Realty in Jacksonville’s Avondale area was elected the District 1 vice president.
The 2005 president will be Frank Kowalski of Miami and the president-elect will be Michael Dooley of Hobe Sound. Dooley will automatically move up in 2006.
The 2005 treasurer is Charles Bonfiglio of Cooper City , who will have the inside track on being the next president-elect. If the progression runs its traditional route, Davis would next run for treasurer and then president-elect, and could be the FAR president as early as 2008.
He would become the second FAR president from Watson in a decade as Russell Grooms of the Ortega office is completing his term this year.
The new officers were on a slate proposed by a FAR nominating committee with input from each of the state’s regional boards.
In addition to Property Management, Davis is also President of Watson Maintenance Services, a Watson Realty subsidiary serving the major Jacksonville area. Watson Maintenance has four divisions: a Plumbing Division, a Heating and Air Conditioning Division, an Electrical Contracting Division, and a Home Improvement Division.
