A team from Georgia Power installed the poles in the Isle of St. Marys, a final phase of the gated community situated on the St. Marys River and featuring several new neighborhoods.
Osprey Cove resident Frank Frasca coordinated the construction and installation of the platforms, which were built by residents Bill DeLoughy, Dean Belcher and Jack Newman. The poles with nesting platforms on top were positioned near the Isle of St. Marys entrance, the fifth tee and the lake at the seventh tee. Previously, five other osprey nesting poles and platforms have been installed in other parts of the community.
