Two weeks after Kollar Brothers unveiled plans for Amelia Bay, half of the Nassau County community’s 39 custom building lots were sold. The minimum one-acre lots are priced from under $100,000 to $340,000 depending upon location and view, with most sites backing up to nature preserves for maximum privacy.
According to a spokesperson at Victoria Robbins Realty, the marketers of the community, the roads should be complete soon.
“Buddy Kollar has done an incredible job with this community. We have had lots of traffic and have had very favorable reactions from everyone who has visited the site,” said Vikki Robbins. “Another plus is that people will be able to close quickly and get started on their homes right away.”
Robbins also noted that the people purchasing these lots have come from all over Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach as well as from other areas throughout the country.
“The area appeals to people from many different parts of the country,” said Robbins. “What is universal is their reactions, once they have seen the property. It’s hard to describe but you sense it when you’re there. It must be the trees and the rural, open feel of the community. Plus, the marsh front lots have an incredible view.”
Located off of A1A on Nassauville Rd. (CR 107), the gated community is situated on beautiful terrain nestled among wetlands and preserves areas and enveloped with a mature hardwood canopy of live oaks, hickory trees, magnolia trees and native palms.
Owner/developer, Kollar has been active in Jacksonville for more than 30 years building custom homes and developing land. Some of the Kollar Brother, latest projects include Little Andrews Island, St. Johns by the Sea and The Island.
