Florida Coastal finds a home
• Florida Coastal School of Law finally let the cat out of the bag regarding the location of its new campus. The school announced plans to move into the Citicard building at 8787 Baypine Road, near Baymeadows and Interstate 95. FCSL plans to move into the 220,000-square-foot building in early 2006. Dean Peter Goplerud announced the move earlier this year, but kept the location secret until the Thursday announcement. Goplerud said FCSL has outgrown its current Beach Boulevard location. With enrollment expected to increase to 1,100 in the next five years, the move was a necessity, he said. The school looked for a downtown location, but Goplerud said a lack of available parking nixed the idea. The new building has a 1,400-space parking garage.
