The Florida Association of Realtors recently sent this letter to Realty/Builder Connection in an effort to inform Realtors about advocating for a Homeownership for All specialty license plate:
The Florida Association of Realtors needs your help in their effort to advocate for a Homeownership for All specialty license plate during the 2006 legislative session. The funds collected through this program will serve as housing assistance to our state’s workforce to better afford housing in the areas they serve. The additional cost of the specialty license plate will be $25 plus a $2 DMV fee.
Pursuing the specialty license plate requires a submission of an independent survey demonstrating interest among 2,401 vehicle registrants in Florida. The responses must be a representation of all counties in Florida and at this time FAR needs another 15 responses from Duval County residents. If you have not already done so, please follow the attached link to complete the license plate survey.
The survey will only take a few seconds to complete. Respondents will be required to enter their Florida driver’s license number or current Florida license plate number. The website is secure and your information will be shared only with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles for verification.
