Toll Brothers will develop Coastal Oaks, one of the first residential communities in Nocatee, the giant development that spans Duval and St. Johns counties along the Intracoastal Waterway. To date, the 900-home site neighborhood will represent the most expansive Jacksonville-area community the company has developed.

“We are excited to be a part of Nocatee,” said Assistant Vice President Brian Loftus of Toll Brothers. “This development will showcase the type of luxury community that Toll Brothers is known for across the country.”

Coastal Oaks is designed to be an upscale community complete with resort-style amenities and a wide variety of homes in various price ranges. The gated community will have a entrance leading to a central spine road that will connect the individual villages. Several miles of walking and biking trails will wind throughout the community and will include points of access to the Nocatee Greenway System, an interconnected multi-purpose recreational trail system throughout Nocatee.

The amenities at Coastal Oaks will include a community center with multiple swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, clubhouse and other related facilities. In addition, there will also be a 10-acre activity park complete with multi-purpose field, softball field, tennis and basketball courts, tot lot and picnic pavilions.

Coastal Oaks will consist of 11 villages that will have their own internal park for more passive recreation. Villages will be differentiated by lot size and more than 90 percent of the homes will back to water or nature preserves. Toll Brothers plans to build luxury town homes, village-style homes in a traditional neighborhood setting, and single-family estate homes.

Toll Brothers anticipates opening for sale in spring 2006.
