Just in time for the Super Bowl, downtown has added another flavor to its ever-expanding palette. The Burrito Gallery opened across from the Hayden Burns Library on Adams Street earlier this week.

“We’re really happy with it and it’s exciting to opening,” said Tony Allegretti, who helped finance the project with business partner Paul Shockey. “We’re looking forward to serving downtown.”

Working from a limited menu right now, Allegretti said more items will be added in the weeks ahead to include various Guatemalan-flavored burritos, tacos and salads. Prices, he said, will rarely exceed $10 for a filling lunch with a drink.

“It’s going to be awesome,” he said.
