The Fraternal Order of Police kicked off 2005 the right way, hosting dozens of the City’s top officials for a hearty lunch at their Beach Boulevard headquarters. Present at the luncheon, where roast beef, mashed potatoes and veggies were served, were several familiar faces from the City Council, the judiciary and the Sheriff’s Office.
“I say it all the time,” said FOP president Nelson Cuba. “We love having our friends over for lunch when they can make time for us. We work so much during the week that we never seem to have as much time to catch up as we’d like to.”
