Janice Lowe has returned as general manager of the Landing.
Lowe replaces Andy Fernandez, who has accepted a recruiting position with the United States Army in Jackson, Miss.
Lowe returns to the Northbank mall after less than a year as the marketing director at Regency Center, the mall on Atlantic Blvd. just south of the Arlington area.
“Janice is back with us and we’re glad to have her,” said Landing spokesperson Rachel Kaltenbach. “She has a long history with the Landing, the kind you get over time.”
Kaltenbach said Fernandez, who has been with the Landing on and off for more than seven years, is leaving amicably.
Lowe will assume all of his duties, which include overseeing security and collecting tenant rent payments.
Lowe was one of the Landing’s first employees, starting as an intern in the late 1980’s and moving up to public relations director when it was owned by the Rouse Co.
She was promoted to general manager when the mall was purchased by Jacksonville developer Toney Sleiman, who moved then-general manager John Kiddy to his headquarters operation.
