The Super Bowl is less than two weeks away and on a guided bus tour through downtown Friday, Mayor John Peyton wanted to let the media know that Jacksonville will be ready to host the national event.
Stops along the 90-minute tour included the NFL Experience, the Times-Union SuperFest grounds along the along the Northbank and the various temporary parking lots near the Osborn Center. “We’ve done our best to insure we can execute a great game,” said Peyton. “A lot of careful preparation has gone into this.”
