“Reading Rendezvous,” the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History’s summer reading program kicked off with a roar Wednesday as cheerleaders from the Jacksonville Jaguars entertained a group of elementary students from across the city. Pictured are (from left) Robbin Deleon, Christie Rodgers and Missy Gallup. Targeted towards children eight years old and younger, each “Reading Rendezvous” session is included with the regular cost of admission into MOSH — $8 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under. Future guest speakers for the program will include Mayor John Peyton, who is scheduled to read to the students on July 27.
