The Sales and Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association named Alayna Kimball, vice president of marketing for Davidson Development, Inc., its Builder/Developer Member of the Year for service to the organization and the home building industry.
An active member of the planning committee for the annual Realtor-Builder Luncheon & Tradeshow for the past several years, Kimball co-chaired last year’s event and is chairing this year’s event. She is also on the board of directors of SMC and is currently serving as the organization’s secretary/treasurer.
In 2004, Kimball was named one of The Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2004 Up & Comers. The annual award, which is based on professional accomplishments and civic involvement, honors 40 of the area’s brightest young professionals under the age of 40.
As vice president of marketing for Davidson Development, Kimball is responsible for overseeing all residential and commercial real estate marketing activity for The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village. Her 2003-04 marketing campaign was instrumental in the community experiencing its most successful year ever, with record-breaking sales of more than $209 million last year.
Her campaign received two Silver Awards for “Best Overall Ad Campaign” and “Best Color Ad - Single Project” from “The Nationals”, the 2004 National Sales and Marketing Awards competition.
Kimball has served several terms as print production chair for The Cowford Ball, the biggest annual fundraiser for the Duval Unit of the American Cancer Society. She also co-founded Community Alliance Funding Education, a private foundation for public education in Northwest St. Johns County. Kimball has served on the organization’s board of directors since its inception, in addition to serving as treasurer and publicity chair.
