Applications will be accepted every Monday in June for positions in the Northeast Florida Builders Association Apprentice program. NEFBA offers training in four trades, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and heating and air-conditioning, in conjunction with the Florida Community College at Jacksonville and the St. Johns River Community College.

NEFBA secures paid employment for students accepted into the four-year programs, and students attend evening classes to complete their courses of study.

Fifty-three students recently graduated from the NEFBA Apprentice program. The program accepts new applicants two times each year - March and June.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by July 1 and must apply in person at the NEFBA offices, 103 Century 21 Drive, Suite 100, at 7 p.m. June 6, June 13, June 20 and June 27.

For information about other requirements for applicants, call Laura Laseman, NEFBA training director, at 725-4355.
