Lawyers and running enthusiasts gathered behind the Duval County courthouse early Saturday morning for the annual Law Week 5K race organized by Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Florida Skin Cancer Foundation. Though several lawyers ran in the race, none were the top three finishers. Ashton Manley, a banker from the San Jose area, was the first to cross the finish line with Kim Pawelek of 1st Place Sports coming in second and Times-Union reporter Greg Richards in third.
