Here are the retirement fund figures for current and former Jacksonville elected officials with the amount owed in the first column, according to the Florida Retirement System, and what the City thinks it should pay of that amount in the second column.

The difference comes because the City disputes paying delinquent fees and interest which were incurred immediately when the state’s attorney general ruled that all Jacksonville elected officials were constitutional officers since the city and county governments were consolidated.

Note: this is not a list of all elected officials since 1968 — some opted to participate in the City’s retirement plan as opposed to the FRS.
