Buyers, guests and Realtors gathered recently at the site of the Peninsula, downtown Jacksonville newest condominium highrise. It was there that buyers in the near-sold out tower mingled, sipped wine and enjoyed a front-row seat while construction crews worked to bring the 37-story building out of the ground. “It’s amazing to see the level of support for this development,” said Leighton Hulslander, a sales associate at the Peninsula. “Downtown is in for a major change and we get to be a part of it.”
