Eagle Landing at Oakleaf Plantation will soon greet homebuyers in style with the opening of its two-story Victorian-themed welcome center and adjacent Lake House.
The 3,577-square-foot welcome center will function as the community’s sales center upon completion. The wooden-framed building’s lemon chiffon exterior will be highlighted with white trim and will feature lap siding and a brick base and a second-floor covered balcony. A front porch will wrap around the building’s angled bay windows and the structure’s flat roof lines will incorporate tin roof ornamental elements with a steeple.
The center’s second floor will house a conference room and administrative offices. The 450 sq. ft. Lake House, which has a covered front porch and the same architectural style, will be used as the headquarters for the recreational staff and for rentals of recreational crafts.
Construction began in April with completion planned for November. The welcome center will replace the community’s temporary sales center, which opened earlier this year.
