The big show is almost here.

The area’s largest gathering in the real estate and construction industries, the Realtor-Builder Tradeshow and Luncheon will be Oct. 6 in the East Club at Alltel Stadium. About 1,200 are expected to attend to visit the 100-plus booths, buffet lunch, entertainment and networking.

The East Club is on the opposite side of the stadium from the baseball park and parking is available just outside the building. The admission fee is $40 per person and the show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch from 11:30-2:30.

The show is coordinated by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and a large committee has been working on it since early this year.

This year’s theme is “Selling Northeast Florida to the World” and booths competing for prizes are expected to have an international look.

The categories for the booth competition include best theme, most creative, most entertaining and best giveaway. The winners get $500 to donate to their favorite charity.

It’s the second year for the show at Alltel after being at various locations in the past.
