The Fourth Judicial Circuit’s pro bono committee drew up free living wills last week for residents of Mt. Carmel Garden, a Jacksonville assisted living facility. Interest in living wills has been on the rise since the right-to-die fight over Florida woman Teri Schiavo played out in the national media earlier this year. This is the first of a series of events designed to help people without access to an attorney draw up the document. The event at Mt. Carmel drew up 20 living wills.
