Wine tasting for a cause

Hundreds drowned in more than 130 white, red and rosé wines Thursday evening as part of the 2005 Taste the Music gala. Many of downtown’s most recognizable faces were seen hobnobbing at the event held at the Aetna Building, which also boasted a silent auction and fine hors d’oeuvres. “It’s always nice to see a local appreciation of fine wines and foods,” said Terri Siess (above), a sales representative from wine and spirits company National Distributing. “There’s so much more to it than many people realize.” Event proceeds benefited the St. Johns River City Band.
