LandMar Group LLC is hosting a public grand opening event at the new Winding River Sales and Information Center on Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., to give buyers a sneak preview and “dusty shoes” tour of its 338-acre community in Southeast Georgia.
“This event will give interested buyers the opportunity to see Winding River’s beautiful setting first-hand and stake a claim in first phase neighborhoods,” said LandMar Regional Sales and Marketing Manager Linda Hutchins. “With the first phase of estate homesites selling out in mere hours and the community interest list growing to more than 1,000 names, buyers need to seize the chance to purchase in this promising new community.”
LandMar has created a Priority Reservation Certificate program for those wishing to buy at Winding River and has information available for interested buyers at its nearby community, Osprey Cove, located on St. Marys Road, just two miles east of Interstate 95. The Priority Reservation Certificate, along with a refundable deposit of $1,000, will guarantee a selection position on the opening day of sales.
The event will run all day and includes guided tours of the property along with light refreshments. The builder team and LandMar representatives will be available.
Winding River will feature approximately 443 homes by builders including Bent Pine Construction, David Weekley Homes, Hannah Builders, Southern Atlantic Builders and W.H. Gross Construction situated on 65-, 80- and 100-foot homesites.
Home and homesite packages are priced from the $200s to $400s. Any new property purchase in Winding River includes an associate golf initiation fee, valued at $10,000, to the private and recently renovated Osprey Cove Golf Club.
The amenity package at Winding River includes The Savannah Club, which will feature a clubhouse, fitness facilities, resort-style swimming pool and tennis courts. LandMar is also planning a neighborhood ball field and other recreational venues as well as an extensive inter-connecting nature trail.
A private boat and R.V. storage area will be available as well as hiking and biking trails. Winding River is also close to the natural amenities of the 500-acre Crooked River State Park.
