Watson’s Diane Moss is chairing the third annual Hospice PedsCare golf tournament on Monday, April 17 at Deercreek Country Club. The tournament’s title sponsor is the First Bank of Jacksonville and the honorary chairman is Duval County Sheriff John Rutherford.
Hospice PedsCare is an alliance of Community Hospice, Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital and Nemours Children Clinic which is designed to provide comfort and care to children with life-limiting diseases and their families. Last year’s tournament raised over $18,000 and the committee is hoping to raise $25,000 this year.
A fee of $125 per player will include golf, lunch, dinner, numerous prizes and Return Play Certificates for Deercreek and Queen’s Harbour. Donations in any amount will also be accepted which should be sent to Moss at Watson Realty Corp., 5443 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville32207. Checks should be made out to Community PedsCare.
