State Attorney Harry Shorstein officially thanked State Sen. Steve Wise for his leadership and support of law enforcement during this year’s legislative session by presenting Wise with the Florida Prosecuting Attorney’s Association Senatorial Leadership Award. “On behalf of all 20 state attorneys in Florida, it’s an honor to give this award to Sen. Wise,” said Shorstein. “If we the prosecutors and law enforcement had more Stephen Wises in the Legislature, we’d be in a lot better shape. He has been a friend the entire time he’s been in the Legislature.” Wise said Shorstein has done a “tremendous job” and was “excited” to receive the award.
