Family, friends and colleagues attended the investiture ceremony and reception for Judge Kevin Blazs last week. In late April, Gov. Jeb Bush chose Blazs to fill a County Court seat left vacant when Mallory Cooper was promoted to the Circuit Court. Although Blazs started work a few months ago, he said the position still feels new to him. “I still fight the urge to take this robe off and go stand behind that podium,” said Blazs. “I take it (this role) with humility.”
