The Northeast Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers met last week at the Haskell Building for its year-end/holiday dinner. The 80-member group also approved its new officers for the year.

Jerilynn O’Hara of O’Hara Spradley takes over as president for Ed Birk of Marks Gray. David Anderson (Cole Stone Stoudemire & Morgan) is the new vice president, Kristy Gavin (Gobelman Love Gavin & Wasilenko) is the new treasurer, Deborah Halvorsen (O’Hara Spradley) is the new secretary and Crystal Broughan (Gobelman Love Gavin & Wasilenko) is the new sponsorship liaison.

“We also presented Jacksonville Area Legal Aid with a check for $500,” said Birk. “We are grateful to be in position to do anything. We are a relatively small group.”
