Burdette Ketchum, a San Marco marketing and communications firm, donated 30 bears made by members of the firm at Build-A-Bear Workshop for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office “Bears on Patrol” initiative. Gary Dickinson (left), coordinator for JSO, and David Coffman (right), assistant chief of community affairs for JSO, received the bears from Burdette Ketchum’s Katherine Moore and Emily Townes on Wednesday. “You have no idea what these bears mean to these kids,” said Coffman. The bears will be distributed to different JSO divisions for officers to hand out to children who need comfort in difficult situations.
