Mayor John Peyton acknowledged 19 City employees who have worked 25 or more years for the City. Nancy Westbrook, above, receives a 30-year charm from Peyton for her work in the Tax Collector’s office. Westbrook is the daughter of Shirley Lindsay and the late Homer Lindsay Jr., former pastor of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Lindsay asked Tax Collector Mike Hogan to lead the group in prayer after the presentation.
