Some children couldn't make it to Monday's Toyota Gator Bowl game -- so the game was brought to them Thursday. For the fourth year, the Gator Bowl Association gathered members of the two teams and took them to Wolfson Children's Hospital where they met children in the hospital's general medical unit. University of Louisville and Virginia Tech players handed out stuffed Snoopys and several Cardinals handed out autographs. The Lady Cardinals Dance Team accompanied the players.

Injured Louisville quarterback Brain Brohm, the Big East Offensive Player of the Year, who tore his ACL and is out for the season, isn't new to visiting hospitals, (the two teams visit children at their college-town hospitals, also). He says seeing the children is a rewarding experience.

"Even just for a moment, to see the smiles and brighten their day feels good," said Brohm.
