The Northeast Florida Paralegal Association served up some job training with lunch at the River Club Thursday.
“Team Building” served as the theme for the formal luncheon. More than 100 members and guests in attendance participated in a workshop with ImprovJacksonville. The comedy troupe provided instruction in improving communication to benefit teamwork.
It was a fitting subject for the paralegals as well as about 40 lawyers in attendance, said Susan Bonteski, a paralegal with Brant, Abraham, Reiter, McCormick & Green.
“Paralegals typically work in a team environment so strong communication skills are a big thing when it comes to building a strong working relationship with other paralegals and with lawyers,” she said.
