Jeffrey Dion, second from left, is the deputy director for the National Crime Victim Bar Association, an affiliate of the National Center for Victims of Crime. He’s pictured with panelists and Jacksonville attorneys Jim Kowalski Jr. (Tromberg & Kowalski), Richard Alexander (Coker Myers) and Jay Howell (Jay Howell & Associates) who spoke Tuesday at the Civil Justice for Victims of Crime workshop at the Hyatt. Dion lectures throughout the country to provide communication and understanding among crime victims and trial attorneys. There will be seven of these seminars throughout the state. Jacksonville is the fifth stop. All together, Dion will speak to more than 600 victim advocates in Florida.
