The crowd at this month’s Art Walk, “The Anatomy of Art” wasn’t as large as Art Walks in the past, but people still came out to support their local artists and musicians. This month’s two special features included a reception for the new exhibit at the Main Library, “Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America’s Women Physicians” and “Cram a SAM,” a month-long drive to raise art supplies for ARC Jacksonville, the Otis Smith Foundation, Art With a Heart and Cathedral Arts Project. Cram a SAM, operated by Suddath Container Systems, featured artwork from artists in ARC Jacksonville’s A.R.T. program. Local musicians performed at different Art Walk venues and there were a handful of new artists displaying their artwork all over Downtown.
