The 28-story Strand on the Southbank (right) was recently topped off and is in the final stages of construction. Originally planned as for-rent apartments, the tower will be sold as condominiums starting in August. Prices will start in the low $200,000s and cap at about $800,000. Work is going on seven days a week and the project will look finished in October and be completely done in November. It’s sister project, the 36-story Peninsula, is coming out of the ground and is three stories high. It will be done in about a year-and-a-half. San Marco Place, (behind The Strand) is also close to completion and will have 148 condos.
