Laurel and Decker Day collected money for the Sales and Marketing Council of Northeast Florida Builders Association’s book drive to benefit Rally Jacksonville! — Mayor John Peyton’s literacy program — at Friday’s SMC Breakfast at the University of North Florida. While the pair collected money in a red wagon and worked their way through the room which held more than 300 members, including their mother. SMC chairperson Pud English said, “You gotta look for ‘em. They’re little bitty people.” The book fair runs Aug. 9-15. To donate books to the Rally Jacksonville! program, drop off any book at area Barnes & Noble stores.
