The law firm of Lewis Longman & Walker has a new home.

The environment law firm covers government regulations, administrative law and law use issues and recently moved its Baymeadows office into the St. Joe Building, close to downtown Jacksonville.

“We wanted a bigger office closer to downtown, closer to the pulse of the city,” said Melissa Gross-Arnold, an attorney with the firm.

The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce brought the red ribbon and members of the community came to tour the office at its grand opening last month. The firm is more than 30 years old and has offices in Bradenton, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach.

“For the real estate community, we work attorneys on due diligence and review environmental reports,” said Gross-Arnold. “Our firm represents buyers, sellers and lenders, as well as developers in entitlements permitting. We have a wide range of consultants we work with while representing clients.”
