The new prototype Ethan Allen Home Interiors store is under construction in the St. Johns Town Center.

“Being the first retail store to begin construction in Phase II (of the center) has been exciting,” said Gordon Kessler, store manager. “We haven’t placed a sign on the development site, so it really has been a mystery for those seeing the large open building being constructed.”

The 20,000-square-foot store, slated for an early summer completion, will be only the second of this design in the state of Florida. The new location will feature two home design showcases in an open floorplan.

The new location will provide all the same people, design consultants, services and products that customers have come to know at the current location.

“This new store design was introduced in Orlando roughly two years ago,” said Al Chatkewitz, president of the company. “It’s been very well received down there and we look forward to unveiling this same new design to the Jacksonville market.”

Until the completion of the St. Johns Town Center location, customers can tour the current store located at 7750 Philips Highway and view furnishings.
