Dozens of students from three area elementary schools — Mandarin Oaks, Annie Morgan and Spring Park — are competing for books and art supplies in this year’s Law Day Poster Contest, sponsored by the Jacksonville Bar Association. In celebration of National Law Day, 5th graders created posters with the theme Liberty Under the Law: Separate Branches, Balanced Powers.
Forty-two posters were selected for pre-judging, which was at the United States Courthouse. The finalists will be displayed in the County Courthouse and the winner will be selected during Law Week.
These students are from Mandarin Oaks Elementary.
