Plaza III Steakhouse co-owners Bard and Linda McLean presented a $4,000 check to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Thursday at the restaurant. The McLeans pledged a portion of their January and February revenue to the foundation. Plaza III Manager Rob Mosco’s sons, Silas and Carter, are diabetic. The donation was accepted by Tom Palmer, incoming president of the JDRF and Melody Hoffman, 2006 Walk to Cure Diabetes chairperson.
