As part of its Homeowner Appreciation Day, Mattamy Homes distributed flowers and mulch to its homeowners in communities around Jacksonville to help them ring in the arrival of spring.

The homebuilder set up locations for homebuyers in the communities Cannons Point and Natures Hammock at OakLeaf Plantation as in Walden Chase, Hickory Village, Johns Creek and Bartram Springs.

“We love creating opportunities to drop in on our homebuyers and spread a little cheer and to show our gratitude to them,” said Tami MacKinnon, vice president of sales and marketing for Mattamy Homes. “Spring is the perfect time to plant flowers that can make their homes bright for the rest of the season.”

She said that Mattamy Homes consistently looks for fun and memorable ways to show their appreciation to the many buyers who have chosen to live in a Mattamy home. One year, the homebuilder greeted residents on their way to work with orange juice and doughnuts.

“Saying thank you is an important part of this business - we don’t just build homes, we build relationships,” MacKinnon said.
