The Young Lawyer’s Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association introduced the County Courthouse to Jacksonville’s newest attorneys Wednesday. The “Afternoon at the Courthouse” is now an annual event. The four-hour seminar features presentations from County and Circuit Court judges on trial procedures, professionalism and etiquette. Following the seminar, the YLS hosted a reception in one of The Plaza’s penthouse’s. The seminar also introduced new JBA members to Continuing Legal Education credits. Attorneys received 4.5 credits for the event.
