The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Center on Norwood Avenue is hosting a series of workshops this month designed to help the small business owner. The workshops — which start today and run through the end of the month — are designed for enterprising business owners who desire effective, cost-efficient ideas that can be used immediately to help grow their businesses. Business owners, managers or key personnel are encouraged to attend.

This year the Small Business Center has added several new workshops including the One Page Business Plan, a Business Forum and the Lunch & Learn Series. These are specially targeted for clients who are already successfully running their businesses. There are also several workshops that will assist new business owners in getting the tools they need to launch a successful new business.

Business owners who are unsure of their business needs should contact Beverly Mack at the Small Business Center at 924.1100, ext 221. The Small Business Center can help these business owners select the workshops that will make a real difference in their organizations.

Businesses located in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties are all eligible to join the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is the business membership organization of influence whose actions contribute to responsible economic growth and a better quality of life for all people on the First Coast.
