Exxon-Valdez attorney at FCSL summit

Florida Coastal School of Law hosted the 8th Annual Environmental Summit Friday at Jacksonville University’s Davis College of Business. The all-day summit was presented by FCSL’s Center for Law & Public Policy, the Environmental Law Community Action team and JU. Law & Public Policy Executive Director Eric Smith (left) talked with keynote speaker and attorney Brian O’Neill, who was the lead counsel during the Exxon-Valdez Alaska oil spill litigation. In 1989, the Exxon-Valdez spilled 11 million gallons of crude oil into Prince William Sound in Alaska, the largest oil spill in United States history.
