And it didn’t, so said Mayor John Peyton, who got his flu shot Monday morning from Judi Revels of Solantic. The shot was part of Peyton’s monthly proclamation day. Peyton officially declared November flu awareness month and one of the groups recognized was Solantic. Before his shot, Peyton joked to Revels, “I’ve got to warn you, I have huge biceps. You know I’m a bodybuilder in my spare time.” Other receiving proclamations included the Downtown Ambassadors, the Spina Bifida Association and several others.
