The Liu family came Downtown Monday to enjoy the great weather, a hot dog in Hemming Plaza and a family trip to the Main Library. The four Liu kids – Isabel, Talia, Danielle and Josiah — also enjoyed playing on “Catropolis”– the newest addition to Hemming Plaza, one of the Otis Smith Foundation’s Big Cats for Kids. The Foundation set a goal of 50 “Big Cats” but has reached the 53 mark. The cats cost $5,000 apiece to sponsor and businesses all over town have helped the Foundation.
