Wendell Davis, who heads Watson’s property management division, has been elected treasurer of the Florida Association of Realtors.
Davis will be in the treasurer’s spot in 2007, continuing his rise up the ladder to the state presidency.
His next challenge will be to become president-elect and rarely does a person who has won both the secretary and treasurer posts get denied that step.
The new officers were on a slate proposed by a FAR nominating committee with input from each of the state’s regional boards. Candidates apply to the committee and several opposed Davis.
In addition to Property Management, Davis is also president of Watson Maintenance Services, a Watson Realty subsidiary serving the major Jacksonville area. Watson Maintenance has four divisions: a Plumbing Division, a Heating and Air Conditioning Division, an Electrical Contracting Division, and a Home Improvement Division.
