Bonnie Siecker of Century 21 Dames Point Realty has been elected president-elect of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. She’ll serve under the incoming president, Hank Oltmanns of A Broker’s Choice, and take the top position in 2008.

The recommendations of the associaton’s nominating committee were approved last month at NEFAR’s last general meeting of the year last month at the Southpoint Marriott.

Millie Kanyar of Watson Realty will be the secretary and Carol Hill of Prudential Network Realty will be the treasurer.

Siecker started in real estate in 1977 when she joined Century 21 Wester Realty, where she worked for 10 years. For the past 18 years, she has owned and operated Century 21 Dames Point Realty in North Jacksonville.

Her NEFAR experience includes participation in several committees, councils and task forces including Forms, Education, Community Affairs, Legislative and Professional Standards, just to name a few. She has also served as a NEFAR Director and FAR Director during 2005 and 2006 and served as NEFAR’s secretary in 2006.

Kanyar has been a Realtor since 1995 when she joined Watson Realty, where she still works today. Her NEFAR background includes serving as Legislative Committee chairwoman in 2004, NEFAR Director from 2004 to 2006 and NEFAR treasurer in 2006.

Hill’s involvement includes serving as Forms Task Force member, Community Affairs Task Force chairperson, Budget and Finance Committee member, Florida Association of Realtors director, NEFAR board member in and Programs Task Force chair. She is also involved in Habijax Realtors Ramp it Up!, Paint the Town, and Make A Difference Day.

During his real estate career, Oltmanns has worked for ERA Dan Jones & Associates, All Pro ERA and with builders. He opened A Broker’s Choice Realty in 1996. His NEFAR and Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service experience includes being president of the Multiple Listing service and four years as a Florida Association of Realtors director.
