They had their evening event at the Sawgrass Marriott featuring political satire troupe Capitol Steps. They had their Beach Bash at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. Finally, it’s back to America’s favorite game as the Northeast Florida Builders Association’s Sales and Marketing Council held their third big event of the year at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville for a Suns baseball game.
The evening started out with rain, which may have kept some members at bay, but all together more than 70 people attended. There were more than 120 reservations. The rain did let up, but it didn’t help the Suns. They lost to the Montgomery Biscuits that night.
Members of the USS John F. Kennedy were also at the game last month and one officer from the ship sang the national anthem.
