The Peninsula on the Southbank has hit the six-story mark and seems to add a story a week. The second of three residential towers on the Southbank for Miami-based American Land Ventures — The Strand is nearly done and Vu is still in the planning stages — The Peninsula will be 37 stories high and have 234 units. Construction started about six months ago and it’s slated for completion by the end of next year. There will be a parking garage, ground-floor retail and a pool on the ninth floor. “It’s going to be a beaut,” said on-site sales rep Leighton Hulslander.
