Carol Hadley of AT&T Pioneer (left) and Lori Thomas (next to Hadley) of Continental Asset organized a fundraiser Wednesday in the ground floor lobby of the BellSouth Tower for the Jacksonville Humane Society. A majority of the Humane Society was destroyed by an April 6 fire. “She (Hadley) came to us about raising money,” said Thomas, whose company manages the tower. “It has gone well.” Also on hand were Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department members Jason Jones, Mike Bilodeau and Rod Ziriak (seated with Lucky) of station No. 28’s C-shift, which responded to the fire. The entire station has adopted Lucky.
