This year’s Florida Association of Realtors Convention & Trade Show is set for Aug. 22-26 at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa in Lake Buena Vista near Orlando. FAR’s 91st annual convention offers real estate professionals the chance to enhance their real estate business through the best technology tools, sales and marketing techniques, business models and other industry-specific information. The event also gives participants the chance to glean advice from leading real estate trainers and to network with colleagues. Thousands of Realtors from across the state are expected to attend the FAR convention.

Realtors can also expect to find the latest gadgets and gizmos, motivational advice from leading real estate trainers and a chance to network with other real estate professionals

Top industry speakers such as Nikki Ubaldini, John Crossman, Debra Pestrak and Karen Post will offer insight into current trends in the real estate market, with more than 25 educational sessions scheduled during the convention. Topics include: tips on getting your listing sold in today’s market; ideas for search engine marketing; how to identify and take advantage of opportunities in changing markets; a discussion of economics, interest rates and the real estate forecast for 2008; the long-range outlook for second homes; and suggestions for getting started in commercial real estate.

Other highlights of the event include: the Trade Expo, where real estate vendors demonstrate the latest products at more than 130 booths; and the Super Sales Day/Annual Awards Luncheon, featuring motivational speaker, author and television personality Les Brown, who delivers a message on how to shake off mediocrity and strive for greatness.
